Summary:
- Managing and continuously optimizing assigned procurement clusters, and implementing strategies to achieve defined targets
- Scouting, qualifying, developing and managing suppliers for assigned clusters to ensure optimum supplier base for the customer projects
- Executing procurement processes to ensure on-time, cost-optimized, efficient delivery of goods, services and components as per identified demands and requirements
- Ensuring compliance of all procurement transactions according to applicable processes and Group policies
Primary responsibilities:
1. Responsible for sourcing and supply goods, especially for the machining parts, metal sheet, welding fabrication parts, casting parts etc. according with global/regional/Local sourcing strategies and target settings;
2. Conducting price/award negotiations with suppliers and ensure the price was reliable and workable;
3. Preparation of qualified price comparison and cost analysis for procurement optimization for the timely, cost-effective;
4. Analyse all the RFQ data and prepare the inquiry to the supplier;
5. Generate the purchase order and project-related contracts;
6. Coordination of procurement activities and intensive cooperation with related department colleagues;
7. Continuous monitoring of supplier delivery status and quality performance for the actual project execution after order release;
8. Ensure the availability of material in the supply chain according to the customer project needs;
9. New potential supplier sourcing, evaluation and development together with the SQD;
10. Solid supplier base set-up for category machining/metal sheet/welding fabrication/casting parts to support our projects;
11. Yearly supplier assessment;
12. Other tasks assigned by the line manager;
